Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Java developer with expertise in a broad range of technologies and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications while leveraging modern Dev Ops practices and container orchestration.

• Core Java: OOPs, design patterns, interfaces, serialization
• ORM:
  Hibernate, OpenJPA
• Java build tools:
  Maven, Gradle, ANT
• Web technologies: CSS, HTML, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX
• Java web framework:
  Spring MVC
• SOAP & REST web services
• Application containers: JBoss, Jetty, Web Sphere, Web Logic
• Java testing tools: JUnit, TestNG, Selenium
• Java EE components:
  Servlets, EJB, JSP
• Version control:
  Git Hub
• Hands‑on software development in Java
• Designing/developing applications on Java EE platforms
• Object‑oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
• Relational database knowledge:
  Oracle, SQL, DB2
• Experience with the Spring Framework
• Key AWS services for EKS: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Cloud Watch, Lambda, DynamoDB
• Kubernetes concepts: pods, deployments, services, ingress, name spaces, kubectl
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications on Amazon EKS (architecture, networking, integration)
• Docker for containerizing Java applications
• CI/CD pipelines:
  Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline, Git Lab CI/CD for EKS deployments
• Infrastructure as Code: AWS Cloud Formation, Terraform for EKS clusters
• AWS and Kubernetes security best practices: IAM roles, network security groups, pod security policies
• Monitoring and logging:
  Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack for EKS
• Kafka fundamentals: producers, consumers, brokers, topics, partitions, Zoo Keeper
• Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams for real‑time stream processing
• Managing and monitoring Kafka clusters, performance tuning, troubleshooting
• Schema Registry for data schema management in Kafka

$100,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
