Senior Rust Developer

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 10 years of professional software development experience
• At least 5 years of expertise in Rust programming
• Proven experience in a Lead Developer or similar position for at least 3 years
• Strong comprehension of memory management, concurrency, and systems programming concepts
• Familiarity with Rust ecosystem tools and popular crates for 5 years
• Proficient in async programming in Rust using frameworks like Tokio or async-std for 5 years
• Knowledge of performance profiling and optimization techniques
• Experience with advanced automation platforms such as Salt Stack for infrastructure management for 3 years
• Familiarity with AWS, Git Hub, and Git Lab pipelines for 5 years
• Excellent debugging capabilities for systems‑level and concurrent programming issues
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented Rust code
• Self‑motivated and quick to learn new technologies

• Design and create high‑performance applications utilizing Rust’s ownership model and type system
• Compose safe, concurrent, and efficient code adhering to Rust best practices
• Lead the development of sophisticated features and systems employing Rust
• Review and enhance code for performance, safety, and scalability
• Mentor junior and mid‑level developers through code reviews and educational sessions
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders on technical specifications
• Troubleshoot significant issues and provide sustainable solutions
• Integrate Rust applications with existing systems and third‑party services
• Deploy and oversee Rust applications in production settings
• Work closely with Dev Ops teams to refine build processes and deployment pipelines
• Propel the adoption of Dev Ops practices and tools for continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment
• Streamline development workflows for improved efficiency
