Lead Software Engineer | Hybrid (Atlanta, GA) | $150,000 - $170,000 | SaaSThe Role
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be at the heart of our product evolution, designing scalable systems, driving technical innovation, and mentoring a high-performing team. You’ll collaborate across disciplines to deliver exceptional features, migrate legacy functionality to our modern platform, and ensure our technology meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure .NET-based applications.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused features.
- Partner with architecture to build robust microservices, APIs, and integrations.
- Champion software engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
- Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
- Ensure technical consistency through effective implementation of development processes and guidelines.
- Advocate for non-functional requirements, observability, and maintainable architecture.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and introduce improvements to enhance platform performance.
- Maintain compliance with industry security and accounting standards.
- 8+ years of experience building web and SaaS-based applications.
- Proven leadership experience in a SaaS engineering environment.
- Deep expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET
, Angular and SQL/noSQL databases. - Strong background in Azure
, microservices
, and Dev Ops (including containerization). - Working knowledge of AI development technologies and secure implementation practices.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with accounting or financial software is a plus.
- Data-driven approach to monitoring and continuous improvement.
