What Is the Opportunity?We are seeking a Software Engineer II to contribute end-to-end engineering tasks across assigned systems. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, debugging, documenting, and monitoring solutions, while consulting with users and coordinating cross‑functional support.
What Will You Do?- Analyze, design, develop, and configure solutions with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
- Diagnose and resolve complex defects and incidents, escalating appropriately.
- Work independently on well‑scoped and loosely scoped problems.
- Expand technical knowledge and capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced teammates.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Four years of programming/development experience.
- Experience with cloud computing (AWS Serverless/EKS, Azure).
- API development (REST, Graph
QL). - Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK).
- Frameworks/libraries:
React.js, Node.js, .NET. - Scripting languages:
JavaScript, Type Script, Python. - Object‑oriented languages: C#, Java.
- Eventing systems (Kafka).
- Relational databases (DB2, MySQL, Postgre
SQL). - Document databases (Mongo
DB, Dynamo
DB). - AI Enablement –
- AI Agent programming (OpenAI, Anthropic, MCP).
- Coding assistant usage (Claude, Git Hub Copilot).
- Automated and unit testing (NUnit/XUnit, Moq, Jest, Cypress).
- Source control (Git/Git Hub).
- CI/CD (Cloud Bees Jenkins, Jenkins Open Source, Azure Dev Ops).
- OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC).
- Observability/monitoring platforms (Dynatrace, ELK, Open Telemetry).
- Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Rally).
- Delivery – estimate timelines, deliver on schedule, balance automation and incremental releases.
- Domain expertise, problem solving, communication, and intermediate leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related STEM field, or equivalent education/work experience.
- Four additional years of software engineering experience.
