MUST HAVE Requirements
:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer with Python and C++
• Proficiency in Python and C++ for backend or tooling work.
• Ability to build and maintain reliable data pipelines and system integrations.
• Experience with APIs, containerization, or message-based systems (REST, gRPC, Kafka, etc.).
• Comfort working with large-scale imaging or high-volume data environments.
• Ability to diagnose issues across OS, network, and application layers.
• Strong documentation habits and writing clean, maintainable code.

Day to Day
:

An Insight Global client is looking for a talented Software Engineer to join their Atlanta based team. This group needs someone with very strong proficiency in Python and C++ and familiar working in a Linux environment. This Railway customer has a large ongoing train camera portal project built for train safety. You will expect to split your time working locally to Atlanta in the client's lab and traveling (25%) to various different sites to work on these portals as they are increasing the number that will be built and maintained.

Travel will be fully expensed.
