You Will Create Impact

As a Software Engineer (Full Stack) at AIG, you’ll play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering scalable, high‑quality software solutions that solve complex business challenges. You will work in a dynamic, agile environment, collaborating with teams and leveraging AI coding assistants to create impactful applications that improve and innovate business processes. Your ability to blend technical expertise with a deep understanding of business needs will help drive our projects forward, ensuring we consistently deliver value and world‑class engineering standards.

Responsibilities Include
  • Collaborating with product owners and IT leads to translate high‑level business requirements into functional, well‑architected software solutions.
  • Developing new or enhancing existing user interfaces using AIG’s proprietary Angular framework to create seamless, user‑friendly experiences.
  • Writing and maintaining high‑quality, reusable code that adheres to AIG's design patterns and coding standards, with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
  • Creating robust unit tests to ensure code quality, covering both expected and exception scenarios.
  • Building and integrating business services using Mule Soft, while adhering to AIG’s integration standards.
  • Working with Agile scrum teams to drive best practices, participate in code reviews, and continuously improve development processes.
What Is Needed To Be Successful
  • Proficient in object‑oriented programming languages such as Java or Python, with a strong background in developing software solutions for complex business problems.
  • Experience developing solutions within a microservices architecture using Spring Boot or similar technologies, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and flexibility of services.
  • Hands‑on experience writing services that interact with relational and No

    SQL databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Comfortable with cloud‑native technologies such as Terraform, AWS Lambda, and API Gateways to build scalable, cloud‑based solutions.
  • Deployment experience on major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), leveraging Terraform, containerization, and API Gateways to build scalable architectures.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices, with hands‑on experience implementing automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
  • Skilled in front‑end development, with experience using Angular or similar frameworks to create exceptional user experiences.
  • Excellent collaboration within Agile teams, applying strong problem‑solving skills to tackle challenges effectively.
It Would Be Nice If
  • Experience using Mule Soft for developing and integrating enterprise‑level services, adhering to standardized design patterns.
  • Passion for innovation and continuously seeking opportunities to improve development processes through automation and best practices.
