The Full Stack Java Developer is responsible for participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle for an assigned business unit, client program, or corporate department. The candidate will be responsible for core Java/Java EE middleware application development from conceptualization to testing.

• Create interactive user interfaces using front-end technologies.
• Design robust back-end architecture and retrieve data from servers.
• Build and maintain databases and servers that run continuously and are resilient to disruptions.
• Ensure applications are cross-platform compatible.
• Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Java and related technologies.
• Develop APIs based on the nature of the application, perform unit, regression, system tests, and fix defects.
• Participate in integrating activities with other IT departments for successful implementation and support of project efforts.
• Provide on-call support, monitor the system, facilitate code reviews, and assist in vendor evaluation.

Requires a BA/BS or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and minimum of 1 year experience on one platform.

• Strong understanding of core Java concepts such as OOP, data structures, algorithms.
• Experience with popular Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Maven.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular
  
  JS.
• Experience with cloud development practices (AWS).
