Position: Senior Technical Lead - Spring Boot
Job Summary
The Senior Technical Lead is a key role responsible for managing technology in complex development projects. This position emphasizes providing technical guidance to a team of developers, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and aligning technology solutions with organizational objectives. The Senior Technical Lead will play a pivotal role in enhancing team productivity and driving successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of developers by enhancing their capabilities in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Java, thereby increasing overall productivity and software quality.Conduct comprehensive code reviews and establish quality assurance processes using Spring Boot best practices, optimizing performance and ensuring adherence to coding standards to facilitate successful project delivery.Ensure process compliance in the assigned module by participating in technical discussions and reviews as a consultant for feasibility studies, analyzing technical alternatives, assessing best packages, and identifying technical risks.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables while preparing and submitting status reports to minimize exposure and facilitate the closure of escalations.Skill Requirements
Proficient in Spring Boot, Java, and Hibernate with advanced understanding of microservices architecture.In-depth knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.Solid experience in performance tuning and optimization of Spring Boot applications.Strong understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.Certification
Optional but valuable certifications:
Spring Professional Certification, Java SE 11 Developer Certification.- 5-10 years of progressive experience in software engineering
- Proven experience in Angular and Java.
- Extensive experience developing cloud-native apps using Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in at least ONE of the following domains: public cloud (AWS/PCF), server-side web development, client-side web development, REST/web services.
- Experienced with CI/CD concepts and Jenkins/Git Lab pipelines.
- Expertise with SQL and No
SQL databases. Well-versed with stored procedures, views, and database queries.
- Experience using monitoring tools like App Dynamics, Splunk, and Grafana.
- Good understanding of API management concepts with experience with at least one API management tool.
