Job Overview

Holder Construction is seeking applicants for the position of Laborer for our project located in Atlanta, GA. The perfect person for this job is a team player who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced yet supported environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of teamwork, the ability to work independently on assignments, handle multiple projects at one time while remaining flexible, and working within tight deadlines.

• loading/unloading of deliveries
• handling / moving jobsite materials
• cleaning/ preparing work spaces
• digging
• assisting safety professional
• assisting carpenters
• various jobsite operation

An ideal candidate for this position will possess 1-year of construction experience and an understanding of safety and general constructability knowledge. This position will provide primary support to our field supervision and must demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, maintain professionalism, and use critical thinking to solve issues.

• Agile/mobile and remain alert
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
• Use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects
• Climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights
• Read/write ability
• Good sight and hearing either naturally or with correction
• Lift and carry materials weighing 50-100 lbs, 75% of the time
• Work in an OSHA compliant safety environment
• Work outside
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours
• Must be punctual and prompt every day
