A Brief Overview

CGL is a provider of justice facility planning, design, and program management and maintenance solutions to justice facilities and other public facilities throughout the U.S. and internationally. CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients. The Master Plumber (Licensed) will install and oversee all plumbing related functions at the facility.

What You Will Do
  • Perform master level, skilled plumbing work in the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing fixtures, water leaks, gas leaks, sanitary and storm lines.
  • Provide technical skills required of a Master licensed plumber for the installation, alteration, maintenance and repair of the plumbing systems and related accessories, to assist with management and operation of the facilities in a cost‑effective manner.
  • Assemble, install, and repair pipes, valve fittings, grease traps, fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, water lines, toilets, showers, commodes, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals and dishwashers.
  • Complete all documentation required in compliance with CGL’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
  • Read blueprints and drawings.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures and according to the standards of CGL Facility Management, OSHA, and our clients.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace while and after performing grounds keeping tasks.
  • Complete all required compliance, safety and developmental training as assigned.
  • Provide training, oversight, or direction to technicians in unlike skillset on the basics of trade.
  • Drive for the Company using either a Company vehicle or a Personal or Rental vehicle to conduct Company business more than 50% of the time to perform work duties.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years of commercial plumbing experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of preventive and corrective maintenance experience in plumbing for commercial environments required.
  • Must be a self‑starter and motivated.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and be on night shifts and on call when needed.
  • Ability to replace Automatic Sprinkler heads for sprinkler system.
  • Must become familiar with the design and layout of the facility.
  • Team player, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to succeed while representing the firm with the best possible service to clients.
  • Reliable and dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Ability to be on‑call for after‑hours emergency maintenance on a rotating basis.
  • Self‑motivated, multitask and prioritize, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with clients.
  • Valid state Driver’s License required.
  • Licensed Master Plumber required.
