Position: CIPP LINER CREW LEADER- ATLANTA AREA

The CIPP Crew Leader is responsible for safely and efficiently operating all CIPP equipment, coaching and training crew members, and supporting the Field Supervisor in delivering projects on time and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with proven expertise in CIPP processes and a commitment to safety, productivity, and teamwork.

Authority and Reporting Relationships

The CIPP Crew Leader is hired by, and reports to the CIPP Field supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily CIPP crew operations, including setup, installation, curing, reinstatement, and site cleanup.
  • Operate all CIPP-related equipment (boilers, compressors, water and air inversion units, cutters, wet‑out systems, etc.) with expertise and precision.
  • Train, coach, and mentor crew members to build skills, confidence, and performance.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.
  • Support the Field Supervisor in executing project plans, reporting progress, and resolving issues.
  • Assist with troubleshooting technical challenges and provide hands‑on solutions in the field.
  • Maintain accurate logs of equipment use, materials, crew hours, and jobsite conditions.
  • Ensure equipment and vehicles are properly maintained, inspected, and safely operated.
  • Foster a team‑oriented environment where safety, quality, and efficiency are top priorities.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in CIPP installation or trenchless pipe rehabilitation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in operating all CIPP equipment and processes.
  • Prior experience as a lead crew member, assistant foreman, or trainer in CIPP operations.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to train and motivate others.
  • Knowledge of confined space entry, traffic control, and jobsite safety requirements.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt to changing field conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (CDL preferred).
  • Ability to travel and work in all weather conditions.
  • Physically able to lift 75 lbs and perform demanding fieldwork.
Work Environment
  • Field‑based leadership role with frequent travel to active job sites.
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, confined spaces, sewer gases, hot water/steam, UV curing systems, and heavy equipment.
  • Requires use of PPE including hard hats, high‑visibility clothing, gloves, respiratory protection, and fall protection when necessary.
  • Fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment with extended hours or weekend work during peak project schedules.
