Skilled Construction Worker

We are currently looking for reliable and skilled Construction Workers as well as helpers to staff multiple upcoming projects. We're looking for Construction Workers with experience in carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, general construction and other specialties, but we can also take on helpers with no prior experience. We offer safe, educational training on the job as well as opportunities for advancement.

Working hours are 9am-6pm M-F.

Responsibilities:

Manage and complete tasks involving your skill and experience (in carpentry, framing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)

Perform all duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Operate a variety of hand and power tools as directed by management.

Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials.

Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt and dirt.

Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.

Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis.

Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.

Report incidents immediately to Project Manager in accordance with incident reporting procedures.

Job Skills &

Qualifications:

Skills in carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or general construction

High school diploma/GED

Ability to lift heavy equipment

Excellent stamina

Experience on a construction crew preferred

Ability to complete work on time

Excellent verbal communication skills

Ability to work in all weather conditions

Ability to work in a team

Advanced organizational skills

Able to pass drug and background screening
