Job SummaryLead the installation of communication, security and life safety systems, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. Communicate system performance to the Project Manager and other stakeholders, supervise installers, and coordinate with other trades.
Responsibilities- Install field wiring and final hookup of electronics equipment for new and retrofit jobs.
- Represent Project Manager at job site meetings.
- Make site visits to check job progress and coordination with other trades.
- Provide on-site supervision for subcontractors.
- Maintain construction schedule and coordinate task scheduling with other trades.
- Assist management in monthly forecasting.
- Interview, hire, orient and train employees; plan, assign and direct work; coach, appraise, reward, and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
- Supervise and mentor new installers with on-the-job training.
- Schedule employees to jobs.
- Test and document findings for all installations.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and blueprints.
- Operate test equipment:
Volt Meter, Ohm Meter, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Multimeter, and Impedance Meter. - Track time sheets, installation tickets and inventory items accurately.
- Comply with company and customer safety program.
- Research and obtain position‑specific training opportunities.
- Demonstrate understanding of all products provided by SWC.
- Other duties as required or assigned by management.
- Specialize in the installation, programming, and troubleshooting of A/V, Intercom, CCTV, and Access Control systems.

- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.

- Ability to read and interpret general business documentation.
- Valid and current driver’s license.
High school graduate. Basic English proficiency. Ability to read CAD prints, building blueprints, riser diagrams. Solid grasp of basic electronics/electrical theory (formal instruction preferred). Proficient with PC and simple engineering and construction concepts.
ExperienceAt least 5 years in similar installation or supervisory role.
Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements- Stand, walk, climb, sit, use hands and fingers.
- Lift 50–60 lbs., climb, crawl, raise overhead.
- Reaching, grasping, carrying activities required.
- Noise level moderate.
- Occasional outdoor activities with seasonal temperature fluctuations.
