Field Service Diesel Technician

Opportunity Summary

Field Diesel Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and diagnosing both routine maintenance and emergency services while making repair recommendations to customers. This position will work with other technicians to ensure all scheduled work is performed safely and to the customer's satisfaction.

• Perform quality repairs and maintenance on Diesel Engines/Heavy Duty Trucks as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork (e.g., repair information on work orders, state and emission inspection data) promptly.
• Diagnose vehicle failures by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts.
• Dedicate time and adhere to all Company and industry safety standards.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other vital parts to ensure customers operate in proper conditions.

• 3+ years of diesel repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck/fleet dealership or shop environment.
• Strong working knowledge of multiple systems (e.g., A/C, brake, emission, air), diagnostics, and trouble shooting diesel engines.
• Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willing to work on call and irregular hours on the roadside in all weather conditions.
