CS Truck & Trailer Repair is the one‑stop‑shop, mechanical, paint & body, mobile, for all your truck and trailer maintenance and repair needs. CS is a full‑service tractor, trailer and truck repair facility specializing in medium and heavy‑duty over‑the‑road tractor and trailer repairs. We have been awarded an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau and selected as one of the Top Work Places in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2022, by The Atlanta Journal‑Constitution.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair our customers' Heavy Duty Diesel Trucks and Tractor Trailers.
- Provide quality customer service.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi‑truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components.
- Perform preventative maintenance measures on fleet semi‑trucks and trailers.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle engines and clean the fuel tanks.
- Maintain hubs and axles and adjust or replace them when required.
- Inspect, service, and replace trailer parts, including tires.
- Check and repair the brake, electrical, and hydraulic system.
- Test all systems and equipment for performance issues.
- Ensure that trailers meet the U.S. Department of Transportation's road safety requirements.
- Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report all findings to management.
- Respond as soon as possible to client queries, interacting with our customers in person or via phone.
- 4+ year Tractor‑Trailer Mechanic experience or related field preferred.
- Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks.
- Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders.
- Basic computer skills to submit repairs for billing.
- Ability to work in a team environment while following shop safety procedures.
- Knowledge in ABS, brakes, diagnostics, electronics, lights, hydraulics, suspensions.
- Provide own tools.
- Experience with welding.
- High School Diploma.
