Commercial and Industrial Electrician II - Wallace Electric

Responsibilities
  • Install and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems.
  • Interpret blueprints, troubleshoot complex electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and equipment installation.
  • Work independently and train/supervise helpers.
  • Provide detailed documentation and ensure safety and compliance on the job site.
  • Conduct wire pulling, conduit bending, and run conduit at a rate of over 100 feet per day.
  • Apply regulatory codes, use hand tools, power tools, testing devices, diagnostic equipment.
  • Prepare material lists and maintain quality service with clients and other trades.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, operating machinery, working in confined spaces, and enduring varied weather conditions.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of practical electrical experience in commercial and/or industrial settings, or equivalent combination of practical experience and classroom instruction.
  • Completed vocational, trade, or technical school, or apprenticeship program such as IEC.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, panels, transformers, motors, voltage color code, and panel numbering.
  • Experienced in conduit bending, wire pulling, and mounting electrical equipment.
  • Understanding of regulatory codes and safety requirements.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, testing devices, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.
  • Physical capability to lift 50 lbs and perform work outdoors and indoors in various conditions.
  • Electrical License Holder (Class II) is a plus but not required.
