As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician
, you ll be the expert our customers rely on to keep their fleets on the road. This field-based role is ideal for skilled technicians who enjoy independence and variety. You ll perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, including emergency roadside service when needed. Schedule: On-Call 24/7

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
• Handle emergency road service calls with confidence and urgency.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems — keeping a fleet running strong.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools, including handheld computers and precision instruments, to identify and fix issues quickly.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete work correctly.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet top-quality standards.
• Stay productive and efficient, meeting or beating industry-standard repair times.
• Work with trusted vendors to source parts and keep operations moving.
• Take ownership of a company-issued service truck, perform maintenance and pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure safety compliance.
• Collaborate with the team; we support each other.

• At least 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience working on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise that keeps fleets rolling safely.
• Strong communication skills for connecting with customers and drivers alike.
• Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools to stay organized and document repairs.
• Ready for the outdoors — rain or shine at customer yards.
• Independent, dependable, and self-motivated — you take pride in getting the job done right.
• A positive attitude and safety-first mindset.
• Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver s license.
• Bring your own hand tools and we ll supply everything else.

• Work in dynamic, high-traffic areas where safety and precision are key.
• Exposure to dust, diesel fumes, and noise typical of a shop or yard environment.
• Safely handle chemicals, oils, and grease as part of repair work.
• Be ready to lift, move, and position heavy equipment or components.
• Stay active; you ll bend, kneel, crawl, and crouch to access vehicle components.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
