Master Plumber

Position Summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients. The Master Plumber will install and oversee all plumbing related functions at the facility.

• Performs master level, skilled plumbing work in the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing fixtures, water leaks, gas leaks, sanitary and storm lines.
• Provides technical skills required of a Master licensed plumber for the installation, alteration, maintenance and repair of the plumbing systems and related accessories, to assist with the management and operation of the facilities in a cost‑effective manner.
• Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, valve fittings, grease traps, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
• Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, water lines, toilets, showers, commodes, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals and dishwashers.
• Completes all documentation required in compliance with CGL’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and according to the standards of CGL Facility Management, OSHA, and our clients.
• Maintains a clean and safe workplace during and after performing grounds‑keeping tasks.
• Completes all required compliance, safety, and developmental training as assigned.
• May be required to provide training, oversight or direction to technicians on the basics of the trade.

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• 1–3 years of commercial plumbing experience (Required).
• Minimum 2 years of preventive and corrective maintenance experience in a commercial plumbing environment (Required).
• Must hold a current state Master Level Plumbers license (Required).
• Must have a valid state driver’s license (Required).
• Ability to work in confined spaces, night shifts, and be on call when needed.
• Ability to replace Automatic Sprinkler heads for sprinkler system.
• Self‑starter, motivated, team player with strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to succeed.
• Reliable and dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment drug test and criminal background check.
• Ability to be on‑call for after‑hours emergency maintenance on a rotating basis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to interact effectively with clients.
