Learn more:  As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-energy retail and entertainment location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist guests with directions and questions.

You will communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, document observations using a computer or tablet, and support an agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and entertainment location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, parking decks and/or lots, loading areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.

+ Monitor and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and hazards, completing clear incident reports and maintaining accurate daily activity logs.

+ Assist with access control and crowd flow during peak periods and special events, providing directions and coordinating with property staff and/or local law enforcement when requested.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.

+ Preferred to be able to operate a Segway or T3.

+ Preferred to have customer service experience.

+ Preferred to be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
