7:30pm-8am

Security personnel protect our premises, assets and personnel. This employee will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal and inappropriate actions.

• Protect the company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Immediately report security breaches to designated law enforcement agents
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly or regularly the building and perimeter
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
• Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
• Assess the nature and extent of emergency situations and need for additional assistance
• Mitigate incidents by helping to control crowds, protecting valuables, and performing other duties
• Assist any persons on the building or grounds needing direction or campus information

• At least 1 year of security experience
• High School diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
• Ability to operate CCTV systems, security software, and emergency equipment
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism

This job may require lifting of objects that exceed 25 lbs. and frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
