The Role

We are looking for a talented and driven Strategic Account Manager who is deeply committed to driving growth by effectively addressing customer needs with exceptional products and solutions.

You will be a key member of the Global Sales Team and will play an important role in driving Equiem’s growth. You will focus on the development of new revenue in North America through the expansion of existing customers. The role will also play a vital role in lifting the brand of Equiem in the region.

You can work remotely from your home base, collaborating with your colleagues in Europe, the US and Australia. We also look forward to regular face‑to‑face catch‑ups and appropriate travel is a key part of this role. You will also need to work outside the core working hours from time to time, but we respect you as a person and understand you have a life that you want to balance alongside and will support you to achieve this.

  • Orchestrate strategic stakeholder engagement, deciphering decision‑makers and guiding the customer’s purchasing process for renewals and expansions.
  • Dive deep into each customer’s business model, uncovering revenue sources, and understanding portfolio‑specific objectives, partnerships, and managed properties.
  • Expand Equiem’s database and network by leveraging existing connections, securing meetings with key stakeholders, and actively pursuing new opportunities.
  • Conduct face‑to‑face or video meetings and presentations, covering kick‑off meetings, quarterly reviews, annual workshops, and contract renewal negotiations.
  • Collaborate with customers to execute client‑specific goals and strategies related to Equiem products and services.
  • Regularly interact with key stakeholders, benchmarking customer satisfaction and product value and promptly addressing potential issues.
  • Align with internal Equiem teams to influence product and engagement offerings, ensuring a win‑win scenario for enhanced service delivery.
What You’ll Bring To The Table
  • Passion for sales and a proven track record of goal achievement.
  • 2+ years of Account Management experience in a similar role required as a minimum.
  • Previous track record of accountability and delivery of revenue generation.
  • An understanding of SaaS business drivers and analytics, solid business acumen, and previous experience in successfully selling SaaS products.
  • Experience in commercial property, asset management, or leasing (a plus, but not required).
  • Business and financial management acumen.
  • Strong sales methodology including negotiation, deal‑making, and contracting skills – ideally MEDDPICC trained.
  • A strong curiosity coupled with the gravitas to hold meetings that deliver outcomes, gather adequate information to execute our services, and provide clear information back to clients.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills tailored to a wide audience, adjusting the message to fit the recipient’s role.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, think laterally, and focus your time and efforts in the right places.
  • The strength to build positive and respectful internal and external relationships, as well as being a strong influencer and credible source of information and insight.
