Position: Account Executive
Location: Hybrid (Must live in the Atlanta area, but will only need to work in the office a few days each month)
Travel: Less than 10%
Organizational: This position is part of our Inside Sales team, reporting to our Director of Inside Sales.
About This OpportunityGreen Sky, is seeking an Account Executive (AE) to actively drive the prospecting and sales growth for Green Sky consumer financing within the Home Improvement vertical. A primary focus for this role will be to target and secure contracts with small to medium size Home Improvement Merchants. These contracts should provide direct access, explicit endorsement, and marketing support to enroll their location(s) and train their sales staff to offer Green Sky financing as the preferred choice.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an individual who has high energy, a will to win and a tenacious work ethic to succeed. This individual will be responsible for nurturing and growing the business following the sale. It's a pure acquisition role and can be unlimited with the right amount of focus, hard work, and determination. The ideal candidate will have existing experience, success, and high‑level contacts with key industry verticals.
This is an individual contributor sales role.
- 2+ years B2B sales experience; preferably within the home improvement financing or payments space
- Experience leading web‑based client presentations, meetings, and training sessions
- Proven track record of sales success and ability to detail your success following a sales process
- Demonstrates a passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers
- Self‑starter who deals well with ambiguity and thrives on the hunt for the deal
- Strong written and verbal skills; public speaking experience
- Excellent presentation skills and questioning capabilities
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Experience in financial services sales a plus
- Experience with Salesforce as well as Teams meeting, or similar on‑line web‑conference software.
