Position PurposeThe Regional Sales Manager at Bev Strategy is responsible for overseeing relationships with our distributors to ensure effective sales, brand expansion planning, trade marketing collaboration, chain calls, distribution, and brand growth as well as supporting their direct reports development. Their role is crucial in prioritizing Quality as the #1 Sales Driver including Quality People, Quality Product, Quality Partners, and Quality Promotions
Job DescriptionThe NC/SC/Coastal GA Sales Manager must be adept in strategic planning and execution, ensuring that our brand s presence is continuously expanding. They will work closely with various stakeholders to align sales strategies with Bev Strategy core values as well as the companies we represent. This involves meticulous attention to trade marketing collaboration, effective chain call management, and fostering growth in distribution channels.
Critical to this role is the NC/SC/Coastal GA Sales Manager s ability to support their direct reports, encouraging professional development and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. They will prioritize quality in every aspect of their work, from product promotions to maintaining robust relationships with our partners.
Ultimately, their efforts will be directed towards achieving sales targets and distribution goals, creating a harmonious balance between innovation and tradition, and ensuring that as a team we win.
ResponsibilitiesQuality People
- Distributor and Key Account Relationship Management
- Understand the business applying experience to growing the business for the long term.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, setting a positive benchmark for others to follow.
- Ensure distributors meet sales targets and distribution goals.
- General Sales meetings, Work Withs, Monthly Scorecards, QDVP Meetings, and communicate exceptionally well with all stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for key accounts On and Off Premise that are locally based with regional coverage.
Quality Product
Execution
- Build goals that are stretched enough to be challenging but at the same time are realistic in delivering.
- Understand the business across all channels and build Key Performance Indicators tracked consistently.
- Prioritize brands and SKUs maximizing opportunities across all channels of the business.
- Inventory Management
- Ensure adequate stock levels and timely replenishments.
- Connection and collaboration with production and logistics teams to meet demand.
- Prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Sales & Market Growth
- Work with distributors to develop sales strategies and plans.
- Monitor sales performance and provide data-driven insights.
- Reach growth goals by executing a PULL THRU plan vs. push.
- Lead market expansion.

Quality Promotions
Brand Marketing Execution
- Support brand-building activities through distributor channels.
- Ensure execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and trade events.
- Train distributor sales teams in brand positioning and product knowledge.
Trade Marketing Execution
- Create and execute programming on the portfolio that are true to brand as well as unique.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to ensure execution of all brand initiatives.
- Prioritize Quality Product, community, and culture when promoting our brands.
- Quality over quantity executing on brand events and festivals connecting with consumers in the process.
Key Skills &
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years in sales, distribution, or supply chain within the beer or beverage industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the beer industry and distribution networks.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
- Leadership and relationship management.
