This role is focused on selling new business and growing an existing client portfolio through the value of CoStar products.
- Sell New Business:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by promoting the value of our product to the commercial real estate industry and beyond. - Account Management:
Effectively manage and expand your portfolio of clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and growth with tailored solutions. - End-to-End Sales Process:
Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, product demonstrations, closing, onboarding, training, and renewing clients. - Building Relationships:
Conduct in-person meetings and deliver product demos to brokers, owners, corporations, investors, and other real estate professionals. - Brand Ambassador:
Represent CoStar at industry events and cultivate long-term relationships and a professional network. - #1 Commercial Real Estate Brand:
Develop expertise in CoStar’s products and the commercial real estate market.
- 3+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers and a proven ability to exceed sales targets.
- Experience in client management and post-sale activities.
- Must possess a current and valid driver’s license with satisfactory completion of a Driving Record check prior to start.
- 5+ years of outside sales experience in B2B selling data, research, analytics, or related fields, preferably in commercial real estate, financial services, business intelligence, or information services.
- Client-facing experience in the commercial real estate industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
- Demonstrated success in managing client portfolios and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Results-driven mindset focused on customer satisfaction and market knowledge.
