We are seeking a driven, self-motivated sales professional who thrives on generating new business, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This is a customer-facing, field-based role that requires active engagement with prospects and clients through on-site visits, trade shows, and industry events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Identify, prospect, and close new customers within assigned markets
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs
  • Build, maintain, and grow long-term client relationships
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Account Executives, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution and high client satisfaction
  • Track, analyze, and report sales activity and performance using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and other CRM tools
  • Support marketing and outreach initiatives to increase brand awareness and lead generation
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Educate clients on service offerings, terminology, features, and benefits
  • Manage client accounts in accordance with company policies and service standards
  • Provide support to other Business Development team members as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation
  • Proven ability to generate new business and close deals
  • Strong customer service mindset with a consultative sales approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort using CRM and proposal tools
  • Willingness to travel locally and attend industry events
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials/dangerous goods regulations is a plus
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong planning and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously
  • High attention to detail with a strong drive to close business
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
