Summary
The Group Sales Account Executive at Cosm is primarily responsible for generating new business revenue by selling group tickets. Outreach channels will include their existing network of contacts, cold calling, and incoming leads. Their primary focus will be corporations, schools, youth sports, nonprofits, and meeting planners. Additionally, they will proactively assist in developing future programs that will benefit Cosm's long-term sales goals.
Responsibilities- Provide superior customer service to clients and prospects for group sales
- Generate sales leads through phone and email outreach
- Generate leads through previous customer networks if applicable
- Complete the booking process from reservation, to invoicing, payment, and package fulfillment
- Respond in a timely manner to calls, inquiries, and emails
- Maintain comprehensive records and accounting
- Develop client relationships to ensure long-term patronage
- Manage client-related issues in a calm, professional manner
- Up-sell added-value products
- Attend networking events and trade shows as needed
- Sell tickets through outbound cold call efforts and in-venue appointments
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals and expectations
- Accurately and diligently maintains track of all customers and prospects through CRM
- Non-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays as necessary)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-2 years prior sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — diplomatic, tactful, and customer-focused with a professional phone manner and ability to interact with a variety of clients
- Resourceful, conscientious, and punctual
- Entrepreneurial spirit, energetic and outgoing personality with a proactive approach to work
- Desire to grow a fruitful career in the venue, attractions, sports, and entertainment
- In-office work at the Cosm Atlanta venue
