Microworks America, Inc. a world leader in the polyester film industry, located 35 miles SE of Atlanta in Covington, GA., has an immediate need for a self‑motivated Sales Account Manager.
Base pay range$70,000.00/yr - $/yr
Job Responsibilities- Maintains designated and prospective key accounts.
- Development of existing and new accounts.
- Pursuit of new business development.
- Developing sales forecasts, call reports, monthly performance reports, and market research.
- Makes sales calls and customer visits as needed.
- May be required to attend trade related shows and conferences.
- Generates various account‑specific reports, and proactively seeks, observes and reports on market trends; whether customer, product or competitive in nature.
- Identifies customers’ needs concerning new products and product modification and provides feedback on customer needs and cooperates with related function to meet customer requirements.
- Acknowledges the claims and complaints from the customer and provides feedback to the technical group to solve the issues in a timely manner.
- Bachelor’s Degree required – Packaging Engineering, Sales/Marketing, or Business degrees are preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience – Packaging or Plastics industry highly desired.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (verbal & written).
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must demonstrate an aptitude and desire to sell, gain market and service knowledge and demonstrate the ability to learn technical product knowledge.
- Must be flexible to travel up to 75%.
