Commercial Account Executive, Data Cloud — Salesforce
Join Salesforce in the role of Commercial Account Executive, Data Cloud. The Data Cloud is Salesforce’s flagship data platform enabling real-time data to reimagine the Customer 360 and scale customer interactions. This position sits on the Data Cloud Specialist selling team and focuses on highly technical B2B sales to identify, qualify, and close Data Cloud opportunities while aligning solutions to clients’ strategic objectives.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Leverage your experience in enterprise and commercial B2B sales to identify and engage potential Data Cloud clients.
- Apply knowledge of the Salesforce platform, Data Cloud, Tableau, and Agent Force to craft tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Source and qualify Data Cloud opportunities that fit the ideal customer profile.
- Lead discovery conversations to uncover critical business needs and determine how Data Cloud can help.
- Craft and present Points of View (PoVs) that demonstrate the business value of Data Cloud.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless client experience throughout the sales process.
- Highlight alignment of solutions with clients’ long-term strategic objectives and present compelling use cases for technical and business buyers.
- 5+ years of experience in Mid-Market and/or Enterprise B2B field sales within highly technical environments.
- Expertise in modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Big Query) and data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau).
- Understanding of Salesforce competitiveness across Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud to relate Data Cloud requirements to customer needs.
- Strong business acumen with ability to conduct impactful discovery conversations.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a technical sales context.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in technology sales.
