Outside Automatic Door Commercial Sales Representative role at DH Pace Company, Inc. is a field-based position focused on selling pedestrian automatic doors and related products. The ideal candidate will have experience selling revolving, sliding, folding, and swinging doors to commercial accounts and will cover Atlanta and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities- Manage the entire sales process for hospitals, municipalities, universities, K-12, commercial and industrial building owners/managers and other accounts within the Atlanta area: targeting prospects, identifying solutions, negotiating, and closing.
- Meet with decision makers to professionally present product lines and act as a solutions expert.
- Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards.
- Work with senior management to establish plans for growing the customer base.
- Influence customers’ decisions to purchase from the door product line.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop new business strategies.
- Provide timely, accurate estimates and proposals.
- Actively participate in sales meetings and maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system daily.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Minimum of three (3) years of outside sales experience with automatic doors.
- Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of building a new sales territory and establishing a new customer base.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to apply technical knowledge to mechanical systems and products.
- Proficiency with Windows-based programs and sales tools.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
