Join our expanding team as an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative this important role, you''ll drive sales growth and uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our valued customers.

to excel in this role, you will need to...
- Serve as a customer service representative: build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through effective communication and exceptional service. You will engage our customers and sell our product through email, phone, and occasionally in person.
- Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop a deep understanding of Rugby's product offerings to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers.
- Efficiently and accurately process customer orders, ensuring the timely delivery of products while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Take sales orders, prepare accurate price quotes and proposals for customers, negotiating terms when necessary.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner, striving for prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and results, using CRM software as required.

- Inside sales experience, preferably in building materials or construction; or experience as a customer service representative in similar industries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with customers; professional and factual communication.
- Reserved, yet people-focused, with a focus on high-quality, repeatable results and a customer-focused problem-solving mindset.
- Knowledge of Rugby's product offerings or willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Ability to maintain a steady, predictable pace of work while being goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
