Account Executive – Atlanta
Mitiga is looking for an exceptional Account Executive to join our growing global team. We preemptively detect and stop attacks before damage is done, delivering a Zero Impact breach mitigation platform used by many well‑known brands.
What You’ll Do- Listen to customers and understand their key business and security challenges to best advise on how Mitiga adds value to their security operations
- Engage with CISOs and security operations teams to build credibility and thought leadership around cloud and SaaS security
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business needs, challenges, and objectives, and delivering tailored solutions based on Mitiga’s platform
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow the pipeline and drive revenue across the US, consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas
- Engage with Mitiga’s partner ecosystem to establish credible go‑to‑market partnerships and mutually beneficial sales activities driving pipeline and bookings growth
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for prospective customers
- Navigate complex sales cycles with a consultative and solution‑based selling approach, positioning Mitiga’s value proposition effectively to address customer pain points
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and Executive teams to align strategy and deliver successful results
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
- A seasoned sales professional with 5+ years of experience in the cybersecurity industry and a strong track record of exceeding quota and selling to CISOs, cybersecurity executives, and heads of security operations
- Proven experience in early‑stage startups (Seed to Series A) with a deep understanding of high‑growth environments
- Demonstrated success managing both mid‑market and enterprise sales cycles, navigating complex buying processes and engaging multiple stakeholders
- A hunter mentality with strong prospecting skills and a track record of generating leads in greenfield territories
- Able to articulate technical concepts and map them to business outcomes, clearly demonstrating the value of Mitiga’s cloud and SaaS security solutions
- Experienced in selling SaaS and cloud security solutions, with a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, market trends, and buyer personas
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence senior executives
- Highly organized and data‑driven, with strong pipeline management skills and a clear understanding of sales processes
- Experience with detection, investigation, and response (TDIR) solutions and familiarity with security operations tools and services
- A network of established relationships within the US cybersecurity space, particularly with security executives and decision‑makers
Estimated OTE salary $300–350K, including equity grants and generous benefits: health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) match, unlimited PTO, cell phone reimbursement, top‑of‑the‑line equipment, and more.
