Sales Representative, Sales Manager, Business Development
As Hanley International continues to grow, we are looking for passionate, hard-working team members that live our values and help us create new ideas, serve customers, improve our processes, build teams, and manage our growth. In this high-profile role, you will have a great understanding on how to deliver nutritional services, products and new technologies to existing and new clients. You will build and maintain relationships with key accounts, drive increased sales, organize effective account teams, and identify growth opportunities.
This role requires you to be an extremely perceptive person, capable of relating to individuals on all levels. As unique situations present themselves, you must be sensitive to customer needs, corporate goals, team member development and public image.
- Determines market strategies & goals for each product and service
- Sells and markets product solutions to the monogastric production and feed mills
- Conducts market research to determine customer needs
- Follows up on sales leads and makes cold calls
- Establishes & maintains industry contacts that lead to sales by developing prospects and dealers
- Remains up to date on competitor information to maximize sales
- Balances rations and provides feeding directions for various species
- Resolves problems with products and services with a positive disposition
- Builds a key account team for future growth
- Remote/Greater Atlanta area preferable
- Preferably holds a Master’s or PhD degree in Animal Science or related field a plus
- Must have three to five years of feed sales experience or sales experience in related field
- Proven track record of growing and maintaining a customer base
- Self‑Motivated
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Open to travel up to 60%
