The Role And Our Team

Wedding Wire’s New Business Account Executives are integral, high‑performing members of a pioneer team building partnerships with local Canadian wedding vendors, driving meaningful success to local businesses. Our Primary New Business Account Executives excel in creating connections, building rapport with business owners and decision makers, understanding their goals and needs, and offering a consultative approach to service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create positive and productive customer experiences as a brand ambassador while managing the full sales lifecycle process focusing on new business.
  • Proactively identify, assess, clarify, and validate customer needs.
  • Seek and create new opportunities and avenues for growth resulting in long‑term, mutually beneficial partnerships to drive success.
  • With a fast‑paced, goal‑centric mentality, manage many new business accounts with monthly targets.
  • Effective time management required to structure workdays.
  • Influence change and growth within the Canadian wedding industry as part of the largest, fastest growing wedding planning site in the country.
Successful Candidates Have
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in the Wedding Wire Sales Associate role or 2 years of previous sales experience in a fast‑paced inside sales environment.
  • Proven ability to hit and exceed sales quota.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • High emotional intelligence.
