Job Description & How to Apply Below

At Floor & Decor, we’re transforming spaces and careers across the country. The most exciting thing we’re building isn’t just floors—it’s a company without ceilings where dreamers, thinkers, and doers shape our future. With over 250 stores and counting, this is where ambition meets opportunity. Are you looking for new challenges? Let’s build what's next.

Your Work Matters

As a Merchandise Coordinator, you are the operational backbone of your assigned product groups—keeping products flowing, data clean, and vendors aligned so stores can sell with confidence. Your work directly impacts margin, inventory health, and the customer experience across hundreds of locations. When the details are right, the entire business runs better—and customers feel it.

Your Day Consists Of
  • Partnering daily with stores to support product questions, resolve issues, and turn field feedback into actionable improvements
  • Supporting an assigned Buyer and product group by managing financial performance, product setup, and ongoing operational needs
  • Managing vendor relationships end to end, including purchase orders, logistics coordination, discrepancies, and documentation accuracy
  • Owning SKU setup and data integrity—ensuring costs, retails, collections, and system uploads are accurate and current
  • Tracking domestic and international orders, including new store openings, replenishment, special orders, F&D Express, and opportunity buys
  • Researching and reconciling invoice and receiving discrepancies while coordinating with Accounting to resolve vendor payment issues
You’ll Be Successful With
  • A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience in merchandising, buying, purchasing, or operations
  • 1–4 years of experience supporting products, vendors, or accounts in a fast‑paced, detail‑driven environment
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets, PO systems, and operational reporting
  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and stay organized without losing accuracy
  • Clear, confident communication skills—you’re comfortable working with stores, vendors, and cross‑functional partners
  • A customer‑first mindset with the confidence to solve problems and elevate issues when needed
Work Environment / Physical Expectations
  • Primarily a sedentary role with extended periods of sitting, though occasional walking, standing, or light physical activity (lifting up to 20 lbs) may be needed
  • Work is typically performed in a quiet to moderate office setting, with occasional exposure to active warehouse environments and moving equipment
Benefits & Rewards
  • Bonus opportunities & career advancement opportunities at every level
  • Programs that help you reach your financial goals: 401k with company match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and Referral Bonus Program
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and other Insurance Plans (subject to eligibility criteria)
  • Work‑life balance, including:
    • Paid vacation and sick time for eligible associates
    • Paid holidays plus a personal holiday
    • Paid Volunteer Time Off that starts on Day 1
