Specialized Operations Associate

Location: Atlanta, GA

Overview

Under the leadership of the Assistant General Manager, Operations, the Specialized Operations Associate is responsible for the daily operations of the General Office and operational functions of the Jewelry Department.

Responsibilities
  • Opening the store: safe, controller, registers and distributing reports.
  • Maintaining daily functions, including morning cash entry, processing bank deposits, reconciling chargebacks, and counting register and petty cash.
  • Resolving customer issues, internal and external, including researching/payments of bills, tracking/processing customer packages.
  • Following Jewelry Standards and Shipping Guidelines: receive, verify, and properly book all jewelry.
  • Processing re-tickets, RTVs, transfers, ASN shipments, and price changes.
  • Retrieving and processing merchandise to be returned/transferred to vendor.
  • Maintaining repair log, tracking repairs, and submitting invoices.
  • Receiving and verifying merchandise for trunk shows, assisting in set-up/take-down, and recapping results.
  • Preparing and submitting special order requests and Statements of Sale.
  • Communicating with corporate merchants, account payable, inventory control, and vendors as needed.
  • Maintaining internal audit readiness, including monitoring vault/safe contents.
  • Assisting managers and associates on the selling floor as necessary.
  • Processing fulfillment orders.
  • Ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
  • Ability to lift cartons up to 15 lbs, climb ladders, and handle racks and carts of merchandise.
  • Strong computer skills in Google and MS Office, with adaptability to changing technology.
  • Capability to work well in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment requiring high levels of multitasking with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible schedule per business needs; adheres to Dependability standards.
  • Attention to detail and keeping personal workspace organized.
  • Ability to apply store policies and procedures to support decision‑making.
  • Verbal and written communication skills; handles telephone and face‑to‑face interactions effectively and professionally.
  • Maintaining confidentiality when handling issues.
  • Engagement with other store initiatives as assigned by management.
