A well-established, high-energy Mexican cuisine restaurant is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead culinary operations. This is a confidential search for a chef who brings creativity, leadership, and a deep respect for Mexican flavors and techniques—both traditional and modern.

Position Overview

The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, menu development, food quality, and team leadership. The ideal candidate thrives in a vibrant, fast-paced environment and understands how food, culture, and hospitality come together to create memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a kitchen team with a strong focus on culture, consistency, and execution
  • Develop and refine menus rooted in authentic Mexican cuisine with a festive, contemporary edge
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and flavor
  • Manage food costs, labor, inventory, and vendor relationships
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with leadership on seasonal features, events, and concept growth
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant
  • Strong background in Mexican cuisine
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
  • Solid understanding of kitchen financials and cost controls
  • Passion for hospitality, creativity, and continuous improvement
