Salted Melon offers fast casual all-day breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as baked goods, smoothies, and an extensive coffee/ tea offering. In addition, Salted Melon will have a limited retail market, fresh grab n go, and cocktail bar!

Baristas at Salted Melon primary focus is to provide the best customer service as possible. In addition to making amazing espresso drinks, Baristas are responsible for taking food orders, running food, restocking the retail market, and assisting customers with any additional needs. This job requires a positive attitude and someone who likes interacting with guests.

• Taking breakfast, lunch, and espresso orders
• Making delicious expresso drinks
• Running and expediting food
• Restocking the retail market
• Package to-go and catering orders accurately and efficiently
• Assist guests with allergy and dietary restrictions by answering questions about our menu, making appropriate suggestions
• Maintain a stocked, clean, and welcoming dining room, following all safety and sanitation procedures

• 1-3 years’ experience as a barista or cashier preferred
• Team player who works well with others
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs
• Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
