** About the role
** Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of wine spirits and mixed drinks as well as information regarding preparation methods.
** What you will do

* ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

*** Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards. (20%)
* Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order.  (15%)
* Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.  (15%)
* Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.  (10%)
* Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.  (10%)
* Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact. (10%)
* Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.  (10%)
* Monthly beverage inventory and stock take. (10%)

- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

*** Serve food items in the bar area.
* Assist with bar inventory.
* Cut fruit and prepare beverage garnishments.
** What you bring

* Education:

High school education or equivalent experience.

Experience:

Minimum two years bartending or related work.

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to pour, mix, and blend a wide variety, of wines, spirits, and missed drinks. Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
