Description
Russell Landscape is seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader & Driver to join our High‑End Residential Division
. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for overseeing a team of landscape technicians to deliver meticulous, high‑quality maintenance services to some of the most beautiful residential and commercial properties in the area.
- Lead and supervise a crew of 2–5 landscape maintenance team members.
- Drive and operate company trucks and trailers to transport crew, tools, and materials safely between job sites.
- Ensure all maintenance activities—mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, fertilizing, and seasonal clean‑ups—are completed to Russell Landscape’s quality standards.
- Train, coach, and motivate crew members in best horticultural practices and safety procedures.
- Monitor job progress, quality, and efficiency, ensuring all work is completed on schedule.
- Perform vehicle and equipment inspections and maintain compliance with safety and DOT regulations.
- Communicate clearly with clients, account managers, and team members regarding project details, updates, and special requests.
- Track and document work performed, materials used, and time on site accurately.
- Minimum 5 years of professional landscape maintenance experience
, including 2+ years in a leadership role
. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
. - Proven ability to drive trucks and tow trailers with landscape equipment.
- Strong horticultural and turf management knowledge, including irrigation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret site maps, schedules, and work orders.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
