Veterinary Technician​/Assistant

• Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and medical procedures
• Safely restrain animals for exams, treatments, and diagnostics
• Clean and prep exam rooms, surgical areas, and kennels
• Perform basic animal care like feeding, walking, and bathing
• Run basic lab tests and collect samples
• Monitor and report changes in animal behavior or health
• Administer medications and vaccinations as instructed
• Maintain accurate patient records and medical histories
• Sterilize instruments and maintain hospital cleanliness
• Provide compassionate communication and support to pet owners
• Help manage inventory and restock supplies

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in animal care or veterinary setting preferred
• Comfortable handling cats and dogs—including nervous or reactive pets
• Strong multitasking and teamwork abilities
• Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills
• Able to lift animals and stand for long periods
• Punctual, reliable, and eager to learn
