Our pet sitters have been with us from 2 to 10 years. We offer full‑service, in‑client‑home pet‑sitting, including vacation visits for dogs and cats, 12‑hour overnight stays, and midday dog walks.
Job SummaryWe have an immediate opening for a Midday Dog Walker in the Decatur 30033 and Avondale Estates area. Midday walks are generally Monday through Friday between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. The candidate must be available every weekday for consideration.
Responsibilities- Day‑time vacation pet sitter visits clients’ homes in the morning (7‑9 AM) and evening (7‑9 PM).
- Provide dog walking or yard time, give love and attention, feed, refresh water, and return mail and packages; for cats, feed, refresh water, clean litter boxes, and give attention.
- Overnight stays require the sitter to remain in the client’s home from approximately 7 PM to 7 AM.
- Comfortable walking dogs in all weather conditions.
- Commit to at least one year with the position, preferably longer.
- Previous cat and dog sitting/dog walking experience or pet ownership preferred.
- Reliable car and smartphone required.
- Availability during the listed hours.
- Live in the area to reduce drive times.
- Very dependable, as pets rely on the sitter.
- Ability to follow directions for unique visits.
- Availability for summer and holiday sits, when demand is highest.
This is a part‑time independent contractor position. Pay is 48% of the price charged to the client per visit plus 100% of tips left.
