What You’ll Do- Support Exams & Procedures: Assist veterinarians during physical exams, dental cleanings, and surgeries by prepping patients and monitoring throughout.
- Patient Care: Safely restrain pets, monitor vital signs, collect samples, and ensure comfort pre‑ and post‑treatment.
- Clinical Procedures: Administer medications and vaccines, place IV catheters, draw blood, run diagnostics (fecals, radiographs, labwork), and assist in surgical prep and recovery.
- Client Communication: Educate clients on at‑home care, medications, nutrition, and wellness. Be a reassuring, informed voice throughout the pet's care.
- Records & Organization: Maintain accurate medical records, manage inventory, keep exam rooms and surgical suites clean and organized.
- Team
Collaboration:
Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and front desk staff to ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional care.
- Experience: 1+ years as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician preferred. Veterinary Technician degree or assistant program background is a plus.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of animal restraint, veterinary terminology, and clinical procedures. Experience with exotics is a bonus.
- Communication: Clear, kind, and confident communicator—both with clients and teammates.

- Team Player: Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and dependable in a busy, collaborative setting.
