GHR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia.

• Location: Atlanta, GA 30342
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Setting: Operating Room (Tower Op Surg - Perioperative Unit) — perioperative/OR surgical nurse role
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (variable schedule)
• Hours: 40 hours per week (guaranteed)
• Start Date: April 6, 2026
• No weekends or holidays required
• Employment Type: Travel (Travel Nurse / Travel RN)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,690–$1,780

• Minimum of 2 years of recent perioperative/operating room nursing experience (OR RN, perioperative RN)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience in thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, sub-acute, pediatric PACU, or pediatric OR preferred
• Must be able to work on-site in Atlanta, GA
• Travelers must reside at least 50 miles outside of Atlanta, GA (local candidates not eligible)

• Provide direct perioperative patient care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to deliver high-quality surgical care
• Prepare, maintain, and monitor a sterile environment for surgical procedures using proper sterile technique
• Monitor patient status and respond to physiologic changes during surgery with prompt critical thinking
• Accurately document all perioperative patient care, surgical counts, and clinical notes in the electronic chart
• Participate in pre- and post-operative patient education, discharge planning, and family communication
