Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: March 30, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Rotating weekends; call typically one weekday per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks; floating within facility/scope of practice as needed

Highlights:

• Advanced cardiovascular surgical experience including CABG, TAVR, MAZE procedures, valve replacements, and ventricular assist devices
• Comprehensive vascular and thoracic surgery exposure including VATS, carotid procedures, and aortic aneurysm repairs
• Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
• 13-week assignment with bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Unit accepts first-time travelers with minimum 2 years of experience
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory and interpretation services

Requirements:

• Current Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of application
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:1 patient ratios
• Community hospital and trauma level experience preferred
• Two supervisory references from Manager level or above required
• Scrub experience in cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgery procedures
