Job Summary:
- Provide direct patient care for mixed Med/Surg patients on a 30-bed dedicated education unit
- Patient ratio: 5-6 patients per nurse
- Focus solely on patient care (not patient or staff education)
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Utilize clinical judgment in a Level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital environment
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety guidelines
- Ensure timely and effective communication with patients and staff
- Demonstrate positive attitude and professionalism at all times
- Required:
BLS certification;
Preferred: ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years Med/Surg nursing experience required
