THE ROLE

Lead OR service lines at Atlanta's Level 1 Trauma Center. This is where clinical expertise meets operational leadership-where you'll coordinate care, manage teams, and ensure surgical excellence across multiple specialties.

You’ll be the go‑to resource. The problem‑solver. The leader who keeps our OR running at peak performance 24/7.

WHAT YOU’LL DO Clinical Leadership (80% Hands‑On)
  • Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
  • Staff OR rooms and work alongside surgical teams
  • Serve as clinical expert and resource for your service lines
  • Demonstrate excellence as both clinician and coordinator
Operational Management (20% Administrative)
  • Coordinate nursing and surgical tech activities across service lines
  • Manage clinical operations, equipment, instruments, and supplies
  • Ensure regulatory readiness and conduct audits
  • Oversee repairs, training, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Serve as liaison between physicians, anesthesia, clinics, and staff
  • Maintain 24/7 responsibility for service line coordination
  • Designate replacement Team Lead when needed

You’ll work under the direction of the Nurse Manager and Director, leading a team that handles the most complex cases in Atlanta.

WHAT YOU NEED

Education & Licensure

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (strongly preferred‑we invest in BSN leaders!)
  • Current Georgia RN license

Experience

  • 1+ years as a Registered Nurse
  • Specialty OR experience preferred
  • Leadership or charge nurse experience a plus

Certifications

  • Current AHA BLS certification
  • ACLS certification required (or obtain within 90 days for Critical Care, ECC, GI/Cath Lab, L&D, Intermediate Care, or PACU backgrounds)
