This opportunity is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Medical-Surgical Oncology seeking a rewarding 13-week contract position in a dynamic healthcare environment. The role involves providing expert care to oncology patients, administering chemotherapy treatments, and collaborating with a skilled multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in oncology specialty
- Required certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS), NIH Stroke Scale Certification, and Chemotherapy Certification, including administration of chemotherapy - Preferred experience includes Trauma Level 1, Oncology, or ICU nursing backgrounds
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to manage complex patient needs

- Administer chemotherapy safely and effectively following established protocols
- Monitor patients closely for adverse reactions and provide supportive care
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all safety and compliance standards
- Provide patient education regarding treatments and symptom management
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

This role requires flexibility to relocate or travel, as local candidates within 50 miles are unavailable. The contract duration is 13 weeks, offering a focused opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a leading healthcare setting.
