Job Summary
The Advanced Clinical Nurse Educator creates, manages and evaluates education/training programs and services, develops related goals and objectives, recommends policies, and evaluates program outcomes. All educational offerings provided by the Advanced Clinical Nurse Educator should primarily be based on the Cognitive, Humanist, and/or Brain-Based Learning Theories. The role of the Advanced Clinical Nurse Educator may include, direct patient/family care, consultation, change agent, teaching/coaching/mentoring, research, patient advocacy, performance improvement, and leadership & professional development.
Requirements- Current Georgia License or Compact License as a Registered Nurse required
- Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing required
- American Heart Association ACLS, BLS, & PALS certification required
- Five (5) or more years of Emergency / Trauma Nursing required
- Experience providing continuing clinical guidance and mentorship to nursing staff.
