Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our healthcare team in East Point, Georgia. The NP will provide high-quality, patient-centered care across the lifespan, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions in accordance with Georgia state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and obtain detailed patient histories.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work.
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with Georgia Board of Nursing and supervising physician protocols.
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions, preventive care, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
  • Comply with all federal and state laws, rules, and regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program.
  • Licensure:
    • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in Georgia.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred (new grads may be considered depending on setting).
