Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Oncology

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Oncology position requiring a GA or compact RN license and chemotherapy certification.

Job Details

• Work in an oncology infusion unit within a hospital setting,

• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,

• 13-week assignment duration with 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week,

• No on-call responsibilities,

• Patient care focused on oncology and chemotherapy administration,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required,

• Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience,

• Chemo certification and competency in chemotherapy administration required,

• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required,

• Preferred:
Experience in Trauma Level 1, oncology, or ICU settings,

Additional Information

• Responsible for administering chemotherapy and providing specialized oncology nursing care,

• Strict 50-mile radius rule; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible,

• Returning staff must have a 2-year gap from permanent employment before applying as a traveler,

• RTO (requested time off) must be disclosed during consideration; changes after offer are not allowed,

• Position requires 100% compliance with credentialing prior to start,

• First-time travelers will be considered,
